Homes built in the era usually have some insulation. The biggest problem is air sealing between the outside and inside of the house. Lath and plaster homes have a lot of connectivity from the outside space to the inside space through interior wall cavities. We typically tighten up these homes from the attics, crawlspaces and window seals. Sometimes we add additional attic ventilation.
